Abstract. Proper nutrition, physical activity, positive interpersonal relations, sleeping, and resting promote health and well-being. A varied and well-balanced diet is one of the fundamental factors influencing human mental and physical balance. Diet catering services involve providing customers with individualized sets of meals chosen based on their preferences and needs. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the importance of the diet catering sector during the COVID-19 pandemic, whose activities were not limited by government restrictions, and the impact of ordering a healthy boxed diet on eating together of all family members. The empirical study included customers of diet catering enterprises. Individual in-depth interview was used as a quantitative research technique. The analysis of the empirical study proved the extremely different behavior of the respondents, who had completely different views on the basic issues related to the measures that limit social and economic life. They often had no knowledge of the current pandemic and often performed a variety of mutually exclusive actions.

Abstract. The electronic publication format has become valuable and easy to access for a modern person. Many readers prefer electronic publications to print ones. Publication houses that want to access more customers and enhance their sales should consider including electronic formats in their product offers. Managing a publishing company requires constant modification and diversification of products. To a large extent, the offer of publications in electronic format has a chance to attract more customers than the traditional printed form. It is primarily about easy access to the searched reading items. The customers can purchase the publication in various electronic formats, e.g., PDF, MOBI, or ePUB format, according to their needs. It does not require going to the library, reading room, stationery store, or waiting for the parcel at the place of residence. The purchased product, paid or free, immediately becomes available after downloading to the appropriate device. It is a very convenient and quick way to get to publications. Therefore, publishing houses should keep up with the times and offer publications in electronic format. However, a number of factors must be taken into account before such a product is created. Often, there is a need to convert the print version of publications into electronic format - a need to convert documents on formats of computer editorial systems in electronic formats. In the paper, the method of changing the orientation of the page of the elevation publication is proposed. Then a set of parameters of the arrangement elements is developed. The algorithm for the automatic change of page orientation of the viewing edition is created. Based on this algorithm, tools have been developed to automatically change the edition page as an appropriate prototype of automation tools (Adobe, USA product) in HTML format using JavaScript programming language (Japan). For the qualitative work of the prototype, the basic rules of the set and layout were analyzed. The designed complex of typical page layouts, in terms of laying elements on the page. An orientation change algorithm with its restrictions has been developed for each typical layout.

Abstract. This article presents an analysis of the geometrical accuracy of flexspline prototypes that were a component of harmonic drive. To produce the test models, a MEM (Melting and Extrusion Modeling) method was used. This additive method allows the production of elements with very complicated shapes from various polymeric materials. As the test model, a flexspline made of ABS (acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene) was assumed. Such a special gear with a complicated construction was chosen, because its unique design allows one to obtain clear conclusions from the analysis. To expand the scope of research, models of flexspline with four different construction solutions were made and tested. As a step of the analysis, contact measurements were performed for several flexspline models on the coordinate measuring machine to check their dimensions. The verification of the geometrical accuracy of flexspline models will allow to assess the usefulness of additive methods for the production of prototypes and finished products.

Abstract. The article deals with the issue of the usefulness of plastic reinforcement dispersed in concrete, including polypropylene fibers, and the impact of the amount of dosing of such fibers was assessed. The amount of addition was analyzed in the range of 0.5 to 2.0 kg/m3. Fibrillated fibers arranged in bundles and crimped fibers were used in the tests. Fibers with a length of 50 mm were analyzed. The results were compared with test series with the addition of steel barbed fibers 50 mm long and 1.0 mm in diameter. The tests showed that steel fibers do not adversely affect the designed consistency of the concrete mix, unlike polypropylene fibers. The tests showed that, for strength and technological reasons, in the case of concrete reinforced with the addition of up to 20 kg/m3 of steel fibers, polypropylene fibers in the amount of 1.5 kg/m3 can be successfully used, with a decrease in bending and compressive strength not exceeding 10%.

Abstract. The use of multifaceted quality analyses contributes to increasing the efficiency of production processes and quality control as part of maintaining competitiveness. The aim of the study was to identify an integrally configured method for analysing the effectiveness of control points in the context of their ranking in terms of given variables. Verification of the model was carried out against the production process of an aluminium casting. The obtained ranking of the detection methods indicated the MT method as the most effective, which was influenced by the significant detection of critical non-conformities. The study observed little difference between the performance parameters of visual inspection and endoscopic testing, which is largely due to the detection of non-conformities of lower significance and the relatively low cost of testing. Further work will relate to the implementation of the model against other processes carried out in the company.
