This paper sets out the objective of analyzing the perception that regular basic education peruvian teachers have on the use of information and communication technologies (ICT) in the educational field. For this, a quantitative-descriptive research was structured and the database of the II Encuesta Nacional a Docentes (Peruvian Teachers Survey - ENDO) carried out by Ministerio de Educació$n$ (Peruvian Ministry of Education - Minedu) in 2016 was used, the results of which were published in 2018. The sample is conformed by 9823 teachers of public and private schools of all country. The results allow us to conclude that there is a lack of knowledge about the use and benefits of ICT applied to the teaching-learning process, which is reflected in the moderately positive perception of the ICT use in the pedagogical work of teachers.

This work proposes an approach to control continuous-time SISO (Single Input Single Output) time-delay processes subject to output disturbances employing discrete-time PI (Proportional plus Integral) LQR (Linear Quadratic Regulator) controllers. To demonstrate the validity of such approach, this work performs the control of SISO stable, unstable, minimum phase, and integrating benchmark time-delay processes. That is, processes that have been used by the researchers and published in the specialized literature to demonstrate various control approaches. The robustness of the designed time-delay control systems in the presence of varying time-delays is also addressed in this paper.

The research describes the development of a Neural Network model based on the studies and applications of artificial intelligence whose objective is to create intelligent machines; This model applies time series which allows us to forecast the future price of the shares in the Lima Stock Exchange market. For the development of this model we considered six investment companies whose historical financial data were analyzed and processed to feed the neural network that allowed us to determine the viability, operability and reliability to apply it as a forecasting tool. The results obtained were highly significant considering that the proposed model was accepted due to its high degree of certainty.

Augmented reality technology is being a huge support in education standing out the user's attention to interact with virtual world in real space. In this article, the level of influence that would have the use of a mobile application with augmented reality will be evaluated in primary students for Quechua language learning. Likewise, the quasi-experimental design is used and the sample consists of sixty students divided into two classrooms of thirty students respectively. The experimental group improves his grades in a 19.7% unlike the control group and also a reduction of time for understanding the information is seen. In conclusion, the augmented reality mobile application influences significantly in Quechua language learning for fourth-year pupils of primary school.

Fraud detection can be considered as a classification task since we can use datasets with labelled instances as fraud cases and legal cases. Although, many classifiers were applied to this problem, the data pre-processing related to the reduction of values of each variable is an uncommon approach. We explore a method to reduce the cardinality of the variables in a dataset of fraud transaction to identify improvement in this classification problem. Our best result indicated an improvement of $+$ 31.8% in terms of F1-measure when we reduce the cardinality to detect fraud cases.

Lima, the Peruvian capital, with 10 million inhabitants is the 30th most populated city in the world. San Juan de Lurigancho is one of the 18 districts in Lima and it has about 10% of the population from the Peruvian capital. This work puts forward an analysis on the effects of the 10-year-population growth on poverty, insecurity and unemployment in this district. First, a projection of the population was done following the methodology of systems dynamics based on systems thinking and the software Stella. Then we analyzed whether population growth had a bad effect on poverty in the district based on past data. We obtained that in 2029 there will be approximately 1.23 million inhabitants which surpasses the population in 15 out of 24 departments in Peru. Narrowing down the search, in 2027 the district would have a ratio of 1 policeman for 1330 people which is far from the international standard ratio that suggests 1 policeman for every 300 people. Furthermore, the population between 14 and 24 years old would increase in the district. This increase plus the unemployment rate in Lima for people between 14–24 led us to believe that the job market would be even more competitive and the youth unemployed may increase in the next 10 years. It is expected that this work helps to demonstrate the problem of the population growth in the district of San Juan de Lurigancho and also serve as a guide to authorities from Peru to take action on this issue.

The state-of-the-art investigation is important in new product development. It can avoid wasting time and effort on developing solutions that has already been patented or introduced in the market. However, there is lack of a systematic approach for the state-of-the-art investigation. This paper introduces an ecosystem-driven approach for the state-of-the-art investigation. With the example of social workers' back pain, this paper demonstrates a three-step process of the state-of-the-art investigation (Step 1- ecosystem mapping, Step 2- patent and literature review, and Step 3- gap analysis). Each step includes several activities and produces outcomes for the next step. The contribution of this ecosystem-driven approach is a state-of-the-art investigation that helps innovators to identify gaps where state-of-the-art fails to meet unmet market needs.

The main problem of the company under study is the lack of attention in a large percentage of orders, which generates economic losses. This is due to several problems, which are: Delayed production and defective products and parts. This is why the efficiency of the company was evaluated, which is currently 65%. In order to solve problems and increase efficiency, methodologies that contribute to improving the productivity of the production line were evaluated. The most weighted tools were the Lean Manufacturing tools, as success stories across countries and sectors were successful [1]. After the application of the tools: 5S, VSM and TPM, the number of defective parts and the cycle time were reduced. This made it possible to increase the effectiveness of the company by 75%.

The need for complex bibliographic search in the scientific community makes it possible to propose tools that help researchers for such task [1]. The Virtual Reality (VR) environment also provides new possibilities for interaction design in visualization applications and help users to process graphics visualization tasks [2], [3]. Currently, hardware technology is more affordable. Therefore, it is convenient and timely to develop visualization applications that make use of said technology [4]. In this paper, we develop a data visualization application with Virtual Reality for explore the reference between news using graphs. We analyze related work and we selected some design guidelines such as Rendering Techniques and Interaction Techniques [3], [4]. Subsequently, we develop a virtual reality application using Unity [5] and we used HTC Vive [6] to show graphs in immersive environments. We create a graph of news references that shows the abstract of each article when interacting with the nodes using the controls of the HTC Vive. The result expects to show the impact of virtual reality in order to maximize the understanding and interaction of the data.

in recent years the internationalization process in the Peruvian agricultural sector has been experiencing significant growth because of the dynamism of the agro-export sector. Nonetheless, the high degree of farm atomization and farmer's dispersion is one of the remaining structural issues for better productivity and competitiveness rates in the agricultural sector. Thereby increasing the benefit rates of smallholder farmers because they are part of the global agrifood system, is still a remaining challenge. This study's aim was to explore the predictive role of characteristics in smallholder to belong to a farmer organization, as conditions that make it possible to predict smallholder farmers' access to the foreign market as a benefit of associativity. This research use data from the Peruvian Agricultural National Survey (ENA) collected in 2017. Through a logistic regression approach, farm conditions like territory, farmer organization type, farmer organization age, and farm core activity (crop and/or livestock), were tested as factors to increase the farms' likelihood to get access to foreign markets.
