Short Term Load Forecasting Using ANN and Multiple Linear Regression 基于神经网络和多元线性回归的短期负荷预测

Energy demand forecasting is of great importance in the management of power systems. In this paper artificial neural network technique (ANN) and multiple linear regressions method is used for forecasting the load curve. Algorithms using these techniques have been programmed using MATLAB and applied to the case study. The efficiency of both the model is determined from the load curve and the load is predicted as a testing sample.

Visualization: A Novel Approach for Big Data Analytics 可视化:大数据分析的新方法

Big data analytics is the analysis of huge data sets having large volume, variety, and velocity. This data proves to be beneficial if it is analyzed properly. The analysis of such large datasets gives considerably big reports as a result which are again difficult to interpret. But for effective decision making, the results much be specific and precise. So to give a new and better way to analytical results the novel approach is to visualize the results in the form of charts and graphs. As human mind perceives the images and graphs much better and faster than simple text reports, this approach helps a lot in decision making. We are presenting an efficient data visualization tool to explore the dimensions of big data analytics and helping out the decision makers by providing better results to support their decision making process in efficient and effective way.

Sketch Based Image Retrieval Using Watershed Transformation 基于分水岭变换的素描图像检索

In the field of Digital Image Processing Content Based Image Retrieval is becoming very popular. Google and Yahoo have tools on Digital Image Processing. They are known to be Google Images and Yahoo! Images Search. They are based on textual annotation of images. In textual annotations with the help of keywords images are retrieved. This is not very much effective approach as their performances are not satisfactory. The content based Image retrieval is based on automatic extraction of content based on color, texture, etc. The focus of this report is to tell about the obstacles in development of Content Based Image Retrieval which is based on free hand sketch(Sketch Based Image Retrieval). The focus will be to try and create task specific descriptor to handle informational gap that exists between coloured images and sketches which will give opportunity for effective search. The descriptor is constructed after such special sequence of pre-processing steps that the sketch and transformed images can be compared. EHD, HOG and SIFT are the topics that we have covered. Overall, Results have shown that sketch based system allows intuitive access to search tools. Digital Libraries, Crime prevention, Photo sharing websites, etc are some of the targets applications where SBIR can work. Identifying victims in forensics and law enforcements or apprehending suspects can be great value for this system. Matching a sketch of cup shot can be a good example in forensics. Sketching or visual content of querying a picture and then returning an image is intensified recently, In the area of image processing it will require a wide methodology spectrum.

Channel Estimation and Data Detection with Fuzzy C-Means Based EM Approach in MIMO System MIMO系统中基于模糊c均值的EM方法的信道估计和数据检测

Classical wireless communication technologies are threatened with so many challenges for meeting the desires of ubiquity and mobility for the cellular systems. Hostile wireless channels features and restricted frequency bandwidths are obstacles in future generation systems. In order to deal with these limitations, different advanced signal processing approaches, such as expectation-maximization (EM) algorithm, SAGE algorithm, Baum-Welch algorithm, Kalman filters and their extensions etc. were proposed. In this paper, estimation of unknown channel parameter and detection of data at receiver end has been performed. MIMO Rayleigh and Rician channels are taken for wireless communication. To find the initial point for EM algorithm FCM clustering algorithm is used. In this work, algorithm is implemented using MATLAB R2012a. The performance matrices of the algorithm are bit error rate (BER) and mean square error (MSE) at different values of signal to noise ratio.

Analysis of Weight Initialization Routines for Scaled Conjugate Gradient Training Algorithm 缩放共轭梯度训练算法的权值初始化例程分析

The choice of weight initialization routines is one of the important choices to be made for improving the training efficiency of an artificial neural network. In this paper, we analyze the affect of many known weight initialization routines, on training of an artificial neural network, when it was trained with a second order scaled conjugate gradient training algorithm. A number of experiments were conducted to perform this analysis over eight selected function approximation problems. The results suggest that the partially deterministic weight initialization method and the Nguyen-Widrow initialization technique performed equally well and helped the network train and generalize better by achieving better training and simulation error values.

Design and Performance Analysis of 2.5 GHz Microstrip Bandpass Filter for LTE LTE 2.5 GHz微带带通滤波器的设计与性能分析

Microwave filters since a long time have been an integral part of the radar and the telecommunication systems. Designing better and more accurate filters is the major requirement for the various possible communication techniques like the LTE (Long Term Evaluation) system and WiMAX systems. This paper aims to design microstrip bandpass filters for Parallel - Edge Coupled Line Filter and Interdigital Filter configurations for the frequency of 2.5 GHz used for LTE systems. For microstrip implementation, substrate Rogers TMM10 is used for both designs. The filters have been designed on the ADS software. The final conclusions have been drawn by analysing various performance parameters such as return loss, insertion loss, 3-dB bandwidth etc and found very much acceptable for applications.

Ontology Based Product Information Retrieval Ecommtology 基于本体的产品信息检索系统

This paper describes use of ecommerce for easy crawling of information on an ecommerce website. As ecommerce has become an essential part in people's day-to-day activities of this modernized world. Searching & surfing data for ecommerce activity becomes tedious as lot many options & websites for single entity of ecommerce is presented before user. Internet is a huge set of database were many irrelevant data of no choice to particular task of user exist. In this paper we have designed a basic ontology of ecommerce along with its superclass & subclass as well as its siblings. This crawler design named ECOMMTOLOGY is an Ontology based Ecommerce application. Hence, we have classified ecommerce into hierarchy of business-to-business and business-to-consumer modules. The Ecommerce based ontology specifies each product details by searching, storing and retrieving user log details.

Modified ZRP to Identify Cooperative Attacks 修改ZRP识别协同攻击

Mobile Adhoc Networks (MANET) are infra structure-less network made up of many mobile nodes and these nodes communicate through a wireless and infrastructure less medium. Security becomes a major challenge for MANET due to its dynamic characteristics, changing topologies and random mobility. This makes MANET susceptible to a wide verity of attacks. Also, a majority of routing protocols in MANETS are influenced by different classes of attack. This paper focuses on the study of the effects of the cooperative blackhole attack in MANET, how to identify such attacks in ZRP, which is hybrid routing protocol. In this paper, firstly, an attempt has been made to study the effect of cooperative attacks over DSR (Reactive), DSDV (Proactive) and Hybrid (ZRP). Afterward, ZRP is modified by introducing two additional parameters so that effect of cooperative attacks is reduced in ZRP. The modification is based on fuzzy approach which helps in identifying cooperative black hole in ZRP is proposed. Several experiments have been performed to validate the improvement in performance of proposed modified ZRP.

Security becomes a major challenge for MANET due to its dynamic characteristics, changing topologies and random mobility. This makes MANET susceptible to a wide verity of attacks. Also, a majority of routing protocols in MANETS are influenced by different classes of attack. This paper focuses on the study of the effects of the cooperative blackhole attack in MANET, how to identify such attacks in ZRP, which is hybrid routing protocol. In this paper, firstly, an attempt has been made to study the effect of cooperative attacks over DSR (Reactive), DSDV (Proactive) and Hybrid (ZRP). Afterward, ZRP is modified by introducing two additional parameters so that effect of cooperative attacks is reduced in ZRP. The modification is based on fuzzy approach which helps in identifying cooperative black hole in ZRP is proposed. Analyzing Cilck Stream Data Using Hadoop 使用Hadoop分析点击流数据

Big data is a voluminous and complex collection of data that is difficult to process using the day to day database management techniques and traditional data processing tools. Analysis of such data by organizations can discover previously unknown trends and opportunities which can be used for optimization of services and even help executives in decision making. One such source of data is clickstream data which can be captured and analyzed by online retailers and similar conglomerates to optimize the websites and increase sales. In today's world, online retail has become a huge industry which boasts of a huge number of retailers, over a billion customers and worldwide sales of over 22 trillion U. S. D., a number which is set to increase in coming years. This brings with it the need to provide a great browsing experience to customers to keep afloat in the huge market of online retailers. Hadoop is the easy to use framework that helps the user in processing of large data sets over a cluster of commodity computers using simple programming techniques.

Power Converter Schemes for Small Scale Wind Energy Conversion Systems - Review, a Systematic Classification Based on Isolation Transformer and Generator Side Rectifier 小型风能转换系统的功率变换器方案——综述,基于隔离变压器和发电机侧整流器的系统分类

Permanent magnet synchronous generators used in small scale wind generating systems connected to the grid employ various types of power electronic converters. This paper reviews and gives a systematic classification of many power converter topologies available in the literature based on the electrical isolation between the generator and the grid. Emphasis is given on the type of rectifier used on the generator side. Most of the available converters use line-frequency transformer isolation and it is shown that they can be classified into three types. Based on the available high-frequency transformer isolated ac-dc converters, we have classified them into five schemes suitable for wind energy conversion system applications that can reduce the size, cost and improve the overall performance of such converters. In particular, two single stage soft-switched ac-dc converters have been discussed.
