This study is about research attitudes, anxiety, skills and culture of private higher education institutions. Universities and colleges seek to cultivate and develop students. Their primary responsibilities are to provide quality education and substantially contribute to society. Moreover, the university should have a strong research culture to attain these goals. The study participants are full-time faculty members of the institution, and descriptive statistics and partial least squares are used to analyze data. The HEI under investigation showed a positive attitude towards research because the institution encourages its faculty members to do research activities. They also have moderate competence skills and are anxious about research activities. On the other hand, the dominant research culture is constructive, and a supportive research environment characterizes it. According to the results of PLS-SEM, research skills are significantly related to research culture. Thus, the university should continuously upgrade its research skills to develop its research culture.

Preparing K-12 students to gear up for higher mathematics and sciences, and to be more mathematically college-ready, teachers were given the essential role in bridging the learning gaps. One way to address this was the utilization of modules. The researcher developed Enhancing Mastery & Expertise in Mathematics (EM&EM) module in Basic Calculus. The objective of this quasi-experimental research was to evaluate the effectiveness of the EM&EM module in improving students' performance about the theorems of differentiation. The experimental and comparison groups comprised forty-six (46) Grade 11 students who used the EM&EM module and the DepEd module, respectively. The instruments used in the study were the pretest, formative tests, and posttest found in the EM&EM module. Mean and standard deviation were used to describe student performance in these assessments. To see if a significant difference existed, the formative test and posttest scores between the two groups were analyzed using an independent t-test, while the pretest and posttest scores within each group were analyzed using a paired sample t-test. The findings showed that the experimental and comparison groups' formative tests and posttest scores did not differ significantly, although the former generally performed better when their mean scores were compared. However, there was a significant difference between the two groups' pretest and posttest scores, and that had a large positive effect on their improvement. Therefore, just like the DepEd module, the EM&EM module was effective in facilitating the learning process. Overall, the EM&EM module significantly and substantially enhanced students' learning of Basic Calculus.

Nowadays, there are different platforms, applications, and software available, yet it is not implemented nor integrated into the class discussion as part of teaching and learning. SPSS, Jamovi, and even Microsoft Excel are some that may be used by the students for the statistical treatment of data. Students are lacking the advantage to be equipped with technology in this kind of situation. They are becoming incompetent to other students who have the skills in using the different applications as mentioned above. This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of Self-guided Analysis Tool Pack (S-GAT) as a supplementary material in improving students’ performance in Statistics. The researcher used quasi-experimental research. The respondents were selected Grade 12 students. Two sections were selected as the comparison and experimental group. From these participants, the researcher match-paired the scores in pretest as basis to form the students under comparison group and those in experimental group. The prescribed module was used by the comparison group while the experimental group utilized SGAT. The statistical tools used were the weighted mean, Standard Deviation, Independent Samples t-test and Paired Samples T-test. The researcher also utilized Cohen’s d to determine the effect size. Findings revealed that S-GAT and prescribed module improved students’ performance in Statistics. Both groups had improvement in their performance revealed in their posttest scores, however, students who used SGAT had significantly higher performance than those who used the prescribed module as revealed in the posttest scores. S-GAT is effective and may be utilized as supplementary material in Statistics. Thus, the researcher encouraged other teacher-researchers to innovate technology-based instructional materials to enhance the student’s performance in general.

Work is a need for each human in carrying themself to a more fulfilling state than previously. What's more, a human is additionally expected to proceed to improve and foster the quality and potential in execution and efficiency in the organization to be a benchmark for progress at work and furthermore have the ability to rival others in further developing work. One of the significant elements that should be considered by the organization in accomplishing these work requests is the HR factor. The reason for this study is to figure out how much fulfillment is felt by PT JAS workers, particularly in the Product Division. Notwithstanding fulfillment, work balance, and mental equilibrium of the representatives who work. Information was gathered utilizing an examining procedure utilizing an immersed test (evaluation test), where all representatives of PT JAS in the Product unit will be the examination test. In light of the exploration that has been done, information with respect to the degree of occupation fulfillment is 0.916, the balance between fun and serious activities is 0.911, mental prosperity is 0.797, and the worker execution level is 0.933. An impediment of this examination is that it alludes to a portion of the shortcomings in this exploration. A portion of the impediments in this exploration is that it just talks about Occupation Fulfillment, WLB, and Mental Prosperity on Representative Execution. Just investigating the Commodity Office at Soekarno Hatta Worldwide Air terminal with the goal that it influences the exploration results. The factors of Occupation Fulfillment, Mental Prosperity, and Balance between fun and serious activities jointly affect worker execution, and that implies that structure and keeping up with fulfillment between proficient life and day-to-day life have become challenging to arrive at these days. Late investigations on endeavors to increment fulfillment between work and day-to-day life are known as the idea of work and family fulfillment. Work and family fulfillment as an equilibrium of job fulfillment in work and day-to-day life can be involved by the board as an instrument to spur, reward, and invigorate business development. Observed that two out of three members in his review had extravagance and comfort fulfillment, which was then connected with higher work fulfillment.

As the education system in the Philippines has adapted to distance learning due to the global pandemic, self-learning modules also have become the primary learning resources of the learners. However, many modules distributed to learners were criticized due to erroneous contents, level of difficulty, number of tasks, and printing costs. Meanwhile, there were lack of modules for specialized subjects in some public senior high schools. In this regard, this study attempted to develop and validate offline yet electronic modules in one of the specialized subjects in senior high school, Disciplines and Ideas in the Social Sciences (DISS). In developing these, the study used Normative Design and Analysis, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluation (ADDIE) model. Twenty (20) Social Science and five (5) ICT teachers in the Division of Biñan City were asked to validate the developed e-modules, while thirty (30) learners from Biñan Integrated National High School were asked to participate in the Implementation Phase. An adopted questionnaire was given to the validators to assess the e-modules’ validity and acceptability while pretests and post-tests were given to the participating learners. Through the ADDIE model, the study was able to design and develop offline e-modules named Disciplines and Ideas in the Social Sciences Knowledge-Amplifying Remote Training E-Modules (DISSKARTE). Using the four-point Likert Scale and the simple mean, findings revealed that its objectives, concepts, topics, directions, exercises, and reflections were all highly valid. The findings showed that its functionality, accuracy, suitability, usability, and efficiency were all highly accepted. Pretest results showed that most of the participants did not meet expectations while the post-test results revealed otherwise as the majority got outstanding and very satisfactory remarks. T-test for dependent means revealed that there were significant differences in the pretests and post-tests. This implied that through DISSKARTE, the learners’ performance on DISS can improve. The study is limited to developing e-modules covering only a quarter of DISS subject. However, it is hoped that the study was able to contribute to the world of literature as there were only few to zero studies about developing instructional materials for DISS especially in the context of new normal.

Human resources are important for the success of the organization or company. Because people are living assets that must be maintained and developed, it is intended to ensure that human resources working in the local government can provide optimal contributions to efforts to achieve their goals. One of the goals of the local government is to create a job satisfaction that the job satisfaction is job satisfaction that reflects the sense of the employee for his work. So you can dilute it to what he does. This study should not only affect organizational culture and working environments but as well as motivation to work directly from the local government of DKI Jakarta. We used sampling technology to use the amount of 96 respondents in the population of 126 employees. In this study, a quantitative approach was used using a quantitative correlation study method. A correlation study has the same meaning as an association study and uses multiple regression methods. The work environment ttest obtained a tcount of 3.988 and a ttable of 1.6616, so in the BPAD DKI of Jakarta province, the work environment (X2) has a significant effect in part on the job satisfaction of the employees. Since the value of tcount is 4.671 and the ttable is 1.6616, there is a partially significant effect on employee job satisfaction between motivation (X3) in Jakarta BPAD DKI. A simultaneous test (F-test) showed Fcount 17.105 and Ftable 2.70. This can be interpreted that culture (X1), environment (X2), and motivation (X3) together have a significant effect on the job satisfaction of Jakarta BPAD DKI employees. This study was conducted with Other Service Providers and local officials of the DKI Jakarta Regional Wealth Management Agency, and further studies may be conducted by other companies. No one has specifically investigated public officials from other private service providers (PJLPs) of the Jakarta Regional Wealth Management Agency DKI.

Filipinos’ deep respect for the dead impelled the establishment of a culture of holding wake, interment and memorial as expression of reverence and tribute. Although Filipinos’ daily life are influenced by Catholic teachings, there is an observable lack of knowledge of and formation in the faith. This research investigated on the impact of religious practices on honoring the dead to selected Senior High School students of “X” College. Significant difference on the religious practices on honoring the dead – and on its extent of impact presented to the respondents in Christian Living lessons – in relation to the economic status and place of residence, were evaluated. Utilizing descriptive-evaluative design, findings of this study showed that, when grouped according to demographic profile, there is no statistically significant difference, both on (a) religious practices experienced by the respondents on honoring the dead and, (b) on its extent of impact as these religious practices are presented in Christian living lessons. A “Suggested Learning Resource” was crafted, highlighting in every lesson the indicators in the research questionnaire that received low WAM. It was concluded that the indicators which express the cultural aspect of the religious practices on honoring the dead were ranked least by the majority of the respondents, including indicators which express sense of belongingness in the family of God, ministry of consolation by all the baptized, and Christ as the center of our life. By integrating the “Suggested Learning Resource” in the existing learning package for Religious Education, crafting of lessons which are responsive to the educational and social context of learners – specifically on topics that touches Catholic doctrines on life, death and afterlife – will aim at a deeper appreciation of Catholic doctrines, leading to authentic witnessing to the Faith through one’s own cultural identity.

Student engagement is one of the most critical methods of understanding students' behavior towards the teaching-learning process. Instructors and academic supervisors use a valuable instrument when developing successful pedagogical strategies to increase learning opportunities. This study identified the factors that influence the academic engagement of criminology students at Northwestern University. It specifically looks into the level of academic engagement as to literary identification (intellectual development and academic performance) and educational participation (number of hours spent in school activities, the extent of participation in school activities, and quality of relationship with peers, faculty, and staff), reasons for leaving the institution and the best aspects of Northwestern University to engage criminology students in learning. The study used a descriptive method using a survey questionnaire. Findings disclosed that factors under academic identification under intellectual development and academic performance often lead students from 1st to 4th year to academic engagement. The main reason for leaving the institution is personal reasons. In contrast, the best aspects of the institutions are faculty, the LMS-Canvas, academic teaching strategy, and academic materials for teaching. The research is limited only to Criminology students and covers the face-to-face learning process. The result significantly contributes to formulating instructional policies to improve students' academic engagement.

Adolescents are facing challenges which puts them in risks of having emotional problems. Early detection of those who are at risk developing mental health problem is required to prevent them from worsening and thus need advanced and costly clinical treatments. However, students have limited access to mental health services due to lack of knowledge of mental health. Social stigmatization has also been a barrier to access the services. Numbers of mental health digital application has been developed. There are controversies whether digital application measures one’s mental health status. The study compared scores of depression, anxiety, and stress subscales of DASS-42 (Depression, Anxiety, and Stress Scale 42 items) obtained by paper-and-pencil (conventional) questionnaire and by GALAW V.2 android-based application. It is hypothesized that insignificant scores differences between the modes of measurement demonstrated that the digital application could replace the conventional questionnaire. Thirty high school students (N=30) participated in the study. The conventional measurement (paper-and-pencil questionnaire) was conducted first. After 60 minutes break, the students completed the measurement provided digitally in the application. It showed that the mean of anxiety subscale did not significantly differ (t=1.22; p=.23) whether using digital or conventional mode. On the other hand, the paired t-test demonstrated significant mean differences in the depression (t=3.63, p=.00) and stress (t=2.32, p=.03) subscales of DASS-42. Finally, the result of the study cannot be generalized due to the small number of participants. It is advised to have more participants to represent the population. Other measurements such as the Beck Depression Inventory (BDI) and The State-Trait Anxiety Inventory (STAI) were highly recommended for validity purpose
