Estimate of cyclostationary PLC channels by a modified Self-Organizing Map 用一种改进的自组织映射估计循环平稳PLC信道

The response of power-line channels demonstrates a time-varying behaviour, synchronous to the mains, whose origin is the dependence of the impedance of some electrical devices on the mains voltage. This paper aims to present a novel decision-directed estimation method based on the Self-Organizing Map (SOM). The proposed method reveals to be very effective in the presence of time varying channels. Numerical simulations for different realistic indoor power line networks and the comparison between different approaches reveal the potential of the proposed estimation method.

Improvement of bandwidth assignment in broadband PLC access networks by means of dispatching method 用调度方法改进宽带PLC接入网的带宽分配

This work deals with the planning of the broadband power line communications networks. The design process of these networks is subdivided into two main sub-problems; namely the Generalized Base Station Placement problem and the Channel Allocation Problem (CAP). This CAP is the focus of this work. It is modelled as a Multi-objective Optimization problem and solved by multi-objective optimization algorithms. Based on our previous investigations in this field, we propose in this paper the application of a dispatching method, in order to allocate better and fairly the available set of channels to PLC cells. The advantage of this dispatching is reflected by the improved algorithms convergence. The algorithms performance is evaluated using some network reference scenarios.
本文主要研究宽带电力线通信网络的规划问题。这些网络的设计过程分为两个主要的子问题;即广义基站放置问题和信道分配问题。该CAP是这项工作的重点。将其建模为一个多目标优化问题,并采用多目标优化算法求解。在前人研究的基础上,本文提出了一种调度方法的应用,以便更好、公平地将可用的信道集分配给PLC单元。这种调度的优势体现在改进算法的收敛性上。通过一些网络参考场景对算法的性能进行了评估。
