Late detection of arrhythmias is associated with a significantly increased risk of cardiovascular complications. Early identification and management of life-threatening arrhythmias is paramount to reduce mortality. Wearable technologies are now widespread among the general population, providing a continuous output of healthcare data. However, this data are not routinely integrated into clinical practice.
