(1) A 'destructive' lysosomal dependent cytoplasmic reaction dominates the tumour-cell devitalization in vivo, probably influenced by the characteristic tumour cell environment. (2) 'Repressive' nuclear abnormalities may be observed, but seem to be secondary in the in vivo reaction.
