ENGLISH-PUBLICATIONS IN THE PERSONAL BOOK COLLECTION PROFESSOR A. G. GOTALOV-GOTLIB SCIENTIFIC LIBRARY OF ODESSA I. I. MECHNIKOV NATIONAL UNIVERSITY

The article presents English-language editions from the personal book collection of Professor Artemy Gotalov-Gottlib which is stored in the Scientific Library of Odessa I. I. Mechnikov National University. English-language publications are presented and examined in the context of one of the aspects of his scientific activity connected with the study of the history of pedagogy and the educational system in numerous countries of the world, including England and the United States of America. The main theoretical and methodological approaches of the scientific activities of the researcher have already been described. However, there is no study in which the multilateral scientific activity of the historian has been comprehensively studied. It is indicated that European ideas of reformatory pedagogy popularized by the scholar had an important impact on the development of the Ukrainian educational system and domestic pedagogical science in the 1920s.
