The combination of LED and architecture puts forward new requirements for Building Lighting Integration (BLI) design. This paper is concerned with the development of the BLI design software that based on Building Information Modelling (BIM) technology. Application Programming Interface (API) and Format Conversion of Information (FCI) are believed as the two main technologies during this process. In the development process, the two main technical problems with Revit as the core part are discussed.
