This study used a qualitative descriptive approach through observation and interviews to the lecturers at Islamic institute of Muhammadiyah Sinjai. The researcher found the fact that most of the lecturers had read the literature about religious moderation, only a small part who had never read it, most had not applied it to the learning process and a small proportion had begun to integrate it into the learning syllabus and integrated it into the courses that they taught.
