Total haemocyte count (THC), percentage of dead cells (PDC), phenoloxidase (PO), lysozyme (LYZ), alkaline phosphatase (ALP), esterase (EST), lectin (LCT), and antibacterial (AB) activities were chosen as biomarkers of temperature stress. Our results revealed that exposure to high temperatures increases the AB, and the LCT activities while it decreases the THC, the PDC, and the ALP activity.
