Cyanobacteria are a variety of Gram-positive bacteria present in a range of different environmental locations such as soil, vegetables, sewage, skin and skin blotches. Some such as Corynebacterium diphtheriae are pathogens while others such as Corynebacterium glutamicum are of enormous industrial importance.
