The rising demand for energy management systems can be attributed to the widespread use of battery energy storage systems (BESS) in the utility grid. An effective energy management system is proposed in this study for use in a PV and FC-based DC nano grid with BESS, and several operating modes are analyzed and addressed. The most important aspect of it is that it keeps the DC voltage consistent throughout the grid.
