AÇÕES DE ATENÇÃO ÀS CRIANÇAS COM MICROCEFALIA NO MUNICÍPIO DE TERESINA-PI: O SUAS EM AÇÃO VIA IMPLEMENTAÇÃO DA REDE DE PROTEÇÃO SOCIAL

No ano crianças diagnóstico de microcefalia. E, concomitantemente, registrou-se o aumento de doenças causadas pelo vírus da dengue, chikungunya e Zika. Tendo em vista que esses fatos ocorreram no mesmo período, pesquisadores buscaram meios de comprovar a existência de alguma relação entre essa epidemia arbovirótica e a microcefalia. Sendo assim, em face das questões levantadas em torno da possível relação da infecção de Zika vírus com a ocorrência da microcefalia, este artigo tem como objetivo apresentar uma sistematização dos mecanismos utilizados pelo município de Teresina, com vistas a implementar e ampliar ações de atenção às famílias afetadas, assim como minimizar as dificuldades enfrentadas por esse público. O trabalho foi realizado por meio de pesquisas exploratória e descritiva, e da abordagem quantiqualitativa. Além dos estudos bibliográficos e documentais. ABSTRACT In 2015, a large number of children born with a diagnosis of microcephaly were registered in Brazil. And, concomitantly, there was an increase in diseases caused by dengue virus, chikungunya and Zika. Given that these facts occurred in the same period, researchers sought ways to prove the existence of some relationship between this arbovirotic epidemic and microcephaly. Thus, in view of the questions raised about the possible relationship between Zika virus infection and the occurrence of microcephaly, this article aims to present a systematization of the mechanisms used by the municipality of Teresina, with a view to implementing and expanding actions of attention to affected families, as well as minimize the difficulties faced by this public.
