IoT Based Hybrid EV Charging System with Data Processing
The evolution of transportation with non-renewable resources is playing a vital role in increasing pollution which leads to global warming. The alarming state of global warming necessitates the complete adoption of renewable energy-based transportation infrastructure. This led to the adoption of new primary energy sources. The evolution of transportation and the increasing number of Electric Vehicles (EVs) will also affect the charging status. This research paper provides a solution to overcome the problem of charging EVs by the use of renewable energy sources. In this study the energy source used to charge the vehicle is a combination of renewable and non-renewable, specifically here in the vehicle is charged by the combination of solar energy and electricity, depending upon their availability. Solar energy will be used to charge the car first, but if it is not available at the time, the vehicle can still be charged using electricity. Using the concept, the vehicle is charged through a hybrid system. To monitor and control the battery health and status of the EVs, the IoT embedded smart sensors will be used here.
