In view of the vehicle routing optimization problem with vehicle capacity constraints and time window constraints, the genetic algorithm is used to solve and optimize the established model. The best collection and transportation paths of four kinds of urban domestic garbage are obtained, which significantly shortens the distance of collection and transportation paths.
