This paper introduces Analog Channel Coding to utilize the wide bandwidth more efficiently. The transmitted data is divided into two parts: the most important part and the remainder. As the most important part can be estimated correctly at decoder side, our scheme only transmits the remainder to correct the reconstructed signal. 摘要

随着移动终端的广泛普及,移动视频已经成为人们日常生活中不可缺少的一部分。传统的无线视频传输方案由独立的数字源编码和数字信道编码组成,由于其信道条件的急剧变化,目前已无法满足广播和移动场景。然而,最近提出了一种称为SoftCast的非编码传输方案来提供优美的质量转换。当信道重传带宽大于视频带宽(像素/秒)时,软播效率不高。为了更有效地利用宽带,本文引入了模拟信道编码。传输的数据分为两部分:最重要的部分和剩余的部分。由于最重要的部分可以在解码器侧正确估计,因此我们的方案只发送剩余部分来校正重构信号。实验结果表明,该方案在宽带信道下可将软播性能提高2 ~ 5db。
