Due to the reach variety of physical properties (tunable dielectric, acoustic, optical, magnetic) they offer integration possibility of multiple microwave functionalities on a single substrate. Excellent dielectric properties of these materials allow high power handling capability, low controlling power consumption. The agile microwave components based on them are characterized by fast (sub-nanosecond) tuning speeds and high reliability.
