The hybrid system output is a three-phase asynchronous machine for moving the electric boat. Solar power is a vital electricity source for supplying the required electrical needs to the boat since it is clean and renewable. Battery operation determines the choice between diesel and solar power for supplying the electrical loads for the boat. Solar irradiance forecasting was considered by using Neural Network for planning the operation of the hybrid power system that operates the electric boat.
