Definite and Indefinite Articles in Arabic and Italian language: grammatical contrastive study

This research aims to study the difference between definite and indefinite articles in arabic and italian, as they are among the most important languages in the world, especially the Arabic language. This study deals with a comparison of the grammatical and morphological level of the Arabic and Italian languages. Through theoretical application, we have found many differences between each of them which will be studied separately. We concluded that the definite and indefinite articles of the Italian language have some uses that differ from their counterparts in the Arabic language, as well as the cases where the definite and indefinite articles are omitted in the two languages. Solar lam (ةيسمشلا ملالا) and lunar lam ( ةيرمقلا ملالا) and the difference between them will also be studied. From these results, the importance of the definite and indefinite articles in both languages stands out.
