In this paper, a series of measurements inside an Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) laboratory are reported. Comparisons are made between measurements made in the usual frequency range used in EMC Automotive Testing: 200 – 3000 MHz. The differences that appear in different chambers are validated by using the noise power density. Noise measurement for the experimental setup is analyzed in detail, considering the contribution of the antenna, cable and preamplifier.
