It is necessary to develop new recommendations with\nadaptation to high-performance processing on CNC machines. The recommendations of foreign tool manufacturers are\ninsolvent for choosing their tool, because there are no direct foreign analogues of this steel. Researches are carried out to\nreduce the consumption of hard tool alloys of VK, ТК and ТТК groups, as well as number of foreign tool materials. The\npossibility of using VК8 alloy with coatings for turning by removable standard hard alloy plates is established. Rational\ncoatings are chosen from the number of known coatings.
