Reserves for improving the efficiency of agriculture

With the positive dynamics of development over the past decade and a half, Russian agriculture still has huge reserves for further growth. This applies both to intensive development by increasing crop yields and animal productivity, and extensive - by returning previously abandoned lands to circulation. Moreover, many reserves are associated not only with financial support, but also with the creation of formal and informal institutions that largely determine the effectiveness of agricultural production and the success of rural development. At the same time, the level of competence of the management is important, on which the rational use of numerous resources in agriculture largely depends, which often does not require significant funds.
