Where after the industrial revolution era with various changes, people were forced to enter the 5.0 era. Various innovations emerge and require the ability to adapt. The method used in this research is Scoping review, the authors identify various literatures that use various methods with themes related to the topic of challenges and opportunities of Islamic education in facing society 5.0. and what must be prepared to face all these challenges so that the next generation has the resilience to adapt to various changing times. The results of the study indicate that the problems that arise as challenges for Islamic education are: moral decadence occurs, the emergence of uneducational media that is easily consumed by children, inappropriate use of social media, a climate of competition in various aspects, demands for democracy and modernization, demands to survive the crisis and maintain what has been achieved, demands to compete on a regional, national and international scale, demands to adapt to fast-paced changes.
