A comparative terminological analysis of Kazakh, Russian, Chinese and Dutch normative and technical documents in the field of assessment of the technical condition of buildings was made. An analysis of the interpretations of the terminology revealed several specific criteria for recognizing the dilapidated state of buildings. The article deals with the issue of specifying the criteria of the dilapidated state of buildings.
