The peak structural response of the frame is obtained using response spectrum analysis under linear range to obtain the lateral forces developed in the structure situated at zone V. In this paper the influence of damping ratio on irregular multi-storey frame on elastic response spectra have been investigated. The analytical results show that the impact of damping ratio and modal response combination are significant on the shape of response spectra.
