Besides, the influence of typhoon on failure rate of wind turbines based on wind speed is considered to establish the reliability model of offshore wind farm. In addition, the reliability models of the collection system and VSC-HVDC system are established by state space method. The reliability indexes are calculated by the system state transition sampling approach. This reliability evaluation method increases the accuracy of reliability evaluation. At the same time, it enhances the practicability of the reliability model and can better provide guidance and references for the construction of offshore wind farm. Finally, the IEEE RTS-79 is studied to access the reliability.
