We previously developed a compensation method to address the above issue. This method compensates for the above difference in the form of streaming process. For this study, we implemented this method as a computer program with MATLAB and conducted a hearing experiment to evaluate its performance. It performed well in real time on a consumer-grade PC, and the shift in perceived sound direction was compensated.
