Typical Function And Performance Tests for the Fast Active Reflector Actuator
In this paper, the typical specification requirements for the FAST(Five-hundred-meter Aperture Spherical Telescope) active reflector actuators are described. The basic design rules are briefly presented which include high reliability, high efficiency and low power consumption, thermal design, easy maintainability etc. Function tests and performance tests are described with test platforms and results presented. The operation status of all the 2225 actuators are shown spatially to identify the overall status. The results show that the typical function and performance specifications meet the requirements of the actions.
