Practical results: obtaining skills in using MathCad and researching methods for improving the directional pattern in order to increase the accuracy of determining the goal. The paper presents an algorithm for calculating the radiation pattern of antenna arrays with four modules and a method for improving it. Software and mathematical results are available in the Internet for free, that allows anyone to do similar work to confirm the calculations and conclusions. The results could be used at students practice in technical universities while studying in specialties related to radio electronic engineering in courses connected with study of the design principles of antenna systems with an equidistant arrangement of elements.
