Development and Investigation of W-Band Extended Interaction Klystron
The technique of optimization of W-band klystron multi-gap resonators is considered. Their electrodynamics properties are investigated. Design and measured characteristics of a W-band four-resonator distributed interaction klystron are presented. Output power of klystron prototype achieves 400 W at the klystron operating 3dB-bandwidth near 200 MHz.
