Using of these signals enables to decrease transmitted power of radar, to improve range resolution and resistance against various kinds of distortion or active jamming. The principal limitation of phase-coded radar signals is its sensitivity to the Doppler shift in case of moving targets. The techniques of the Doppler compensation in this case are effective.
