The inverter control strategies of solar power system (SPS) were adapted to improve the voltage magnitude profiles in the microgrid system. This study selected IEEE 33 bus radial distribution to solve the balanced power flow of the microgrid system. This study is divided into two cases based on time step in a day with constant power factor and volt-var control of the inverter for the SPS. The simulation results showed that the volt-var control of the inverter can improve the voltage magnitude profiles and load voltage deviation of the microgrid better than the constant power factor control.
