Księgi metrykalne miasta Wieliczki jako źródło do badań demograficznych i genealogicznych w okresie staropolskim

The aim of the article is to present the Wieliczka record books. The source material is most often used for genealogical research, therefore the most important properties and research possibilities of record books are presented. These metrics have so far been used for in-depth scientific research by a small number of researchers. The most important information about the books and the content of the metrics will be presented. In addition, sources are presented that can supplement the information found in the records. In the last part of the work, we list – subjective – the most common threats from Wieliczka record books that people looking for their ancestors in Wieliczka will encounter.
