An alternative method for transient stability analysis is the direct method, which assesses transient stability from the energy point of view. Direct method requires much less computation efforts. In addition, the stability margin of the system can be obtained. Due to the challenges in system modelling, energy function construction, and determination of critical energy value, it is challenging to apply direct method for transient stability analysis of AC-DC hybrid power systems. 大型交直流混合电力系统已成为中国电力传输的基本模式。目前暂态稳定分析广泛采用时域仿真,但时域仿真计算量大,缺乏系统稳定裕度信息。暂态稳定性分析的另一种方法是直接法,它从能量的角度评估暂态稳定性。直接法计算量小。此外,还可以得到系统的稳定裕度。由于在系统建模、能量函数构建和临界能值确定等方面存在挑战,直接法在交直流混合电力系统暂态稳定分析中的应用具有一定的挑战性。本文是探索直接法在交直流混合电力系统中应用的一步。
