Load is fulfilled with the help of possible combination of components such as solar PV, diesel generator, battery bank and converter. Four models are formed with the combination of components namely (a) only diesel generator (b) solar PV - converter - batteries (renewable system) (c) solar PV - diesel generator - converter (d) hybrid energy system consisting of solar PV - diesel Generator - battery bank and converter. All the models are simulated using HOMER software. Simulation results of models are compared on the basis of economic, electrical and emission aspects. From the simulation results of HOMER, hybrid energy system performs better in all the aspects.
