The quantity of algae provides sustenance for coastal populations, such as meti veggies, which are consumed by the people of Liliboi Village in Maluku. Information about the types of algae and the composition of bioactive compounds from meti veggies is not yet known. This study aims to identify the morphology and examine the phytochemical content of bioactive compounds in meti vegetables from the coastal waters of Liliboi Village. The research was carried out through several stages, namely morphological observations, extraction of bioactive compounds by the maceration method using methanol as a solvent, and phytochemical testing of bioactive compounds in meti vegetables from the coastal waters of Liliboi Village.
