All primary resources such as fossil fuels, renewable energy sources (solar, wind, hydro, geothermic, biomass) and nuclear power could be used for its production and can be termed as one of the advantages of using hydrogen as an energy carrier. The use of hydrogen to balance wind power generation is also detailed. The different techniques for production and storage of hydrogen are discussed.
