Previous studies did not provide sufficient scientific evidence to answer this hotly debated question. Therefore, this study first adopted rigorous experimental research methods, focusing on analyzing whether a P.E. teacher serving as a head teacher would affect student performance. On this basis, the robustness of the experimental results was verified through qualitative research. The results showed that a P.E. teacher serving as a head teacher would not adversely affect students’ academic performance and maybe more conducive to students’ overall development. 摘要

探讨体育教师担任班主任的问题,应该是合理的、循证的。以前的研究并没有提供足够的科学证据来回答这个激烈争论的问题。因此,本研究首先采用严谨的实验研究方法,重点分析体育教师担任班主任是否会影响学生的学习成绩。在此基础上,通过定性研究验证实验结果的稳健性。结果表明,体育教师担任班主任不会对学生的学习成绩产生不利影响,可能更有利于学生的全面发展。基于这一结论,我们进一步提出了如何改进班主任任用和管理的建议。
