PENGEMBANGAN BATIK KONTEMPORER DENGAN TEKNIK COLET GRADASI UNTUK MENINGKATKAN VARIAN PRODUK BATIK SUJO DI DESA SUMBEREJO, GEDANGAN

Abstrak: Desa Sumberejo berpotensi untuk dikembangkan menjadi Kampung Batik dengan dibentuknya UMKM Batik Sujo sejak tahun 2019. Keterampilan membatik sudah dimiliki oleh ibu-ibu pekerja batik, sehingga tujuan dari pengabdian masyarakat di Desa Sumberejo adalah mengembangkan keterampilan tersebut dengan mengadakan pelatihan pembuatan batik dengan teknik colet gradasi. Tahapan-tahapan pelaksanaan program meliputi tahap perencanaan, tahap survei dan pengadaan kebutuhan, tahap persiapan, tahap pelaksanaan dan ditutup dengan tahap evaluasi. Program pengabdian ini diikuti oleh 9 orang ibu-ibu dari UMKM Batik Sujo dan berlokasi di Balai Dusun Tlekung, Desa Sumberejo. Keberhasilan program dapat dilihat dari hasil pelatihan membatik yang berupa variasi produk baru pada Batik Sujo yang dapat dijual ke pasaran dengan harga tinggi serta wawasan dan keterampilan baru bagi ibu-ibu pembatik. Abstract: Sumberejo Village has the potential to be developed into a Batik Village with the establishment of the Batik Sujo UMKM since 2019.
