It discusses the voltage stability analysis of a stiff voltage source supplying a load using a PV curve. The chapter also discusses the voltage stability analysis for large power systems and methods for solving the power flow at the voltage collapse point. It considers dynamic voltage regulation and also describes several additional methods for assessing voltage stability. The chapter discusses the power flow solution and stresses the importance of having the proper system voltage to support active power transfer.
