In this paper, a multimode concentric circularly polarized patch antenna is designed to generate multiple orbital angular momentum modes. The proposed antenna consists of three circularly polarized patches, one circular patch and two shorted annular ring patches, all in the same layer. Each circularly polarized patch corresponds to one OAM state respectively. All three patches are designed to operate at 2.45 GHz.
