The individual characteristics of life cycle enterprises, the technologies used, the qualifications of engineers and workers, and many other factors affect the design results. The design efficiency of complex electrotechnical systems is ensured by the integrity of approaches and integration, understood in a broad sense. Various factors are integrated: design tools, stakeholders, employee qualifications, the internal organization of operational structures, etc. An approach based on the idea of describing an electrotechnical system as a sociophysical object of complex nature is described. The sociophysical approach allows a new use of well-known design tools.
