The aim of the study is to develop a method for finding parameters and assigning a value of excess air pressure sufficient to ensure the stability of a nonlinear lenticular membrane- pneumatic coating of large spans under static loads. This article discusses a static calculation for the loss of stability of a lenticular membrane-pneumatic structure. The main works of other authors on this issue are presented, the research method used by the authors of the article is described in detail. The obtained research results are described in detail and their comparison with the results of other authors is given.
