Nowadays, the number of images on the Internet platform has increased sharply. It is necessary to search scenic spots through picture content information, which is also the pain point for the existing rural tourism websites to be improved urgently. In view of the increasingly close connection between online tourism websites and rural tourism, as well as the gradual expansion of the corresponding market scale, the information presented on online tourism websites has become the key to the development of rural tourism. This paper mainly designs and implements the image retrieval system of rural tourist attractions based on Densenet121, which provides a picture retrieval system of rural tourist attractions for users. When the user uploads the picture of scenic spot in the front page of the system, the system can return to the user the picture of rural scenic spot similar to the picture to be retrieved and detailed tourism information for the user to browse and choose.
