Rigorous calculation of cross polarization radiation of an open-ended circular waveguide
Cross-polarization characteristics for both a one-mode open-ended circular waveguide and a multimode one with a TM/sub 11/ mode excitation have been calculated on the basis of the rigorous Wainstein theory. The optimal waveguide diameter ensuring the minimal level of cross-polarization has been determined.
