Anova and t-test have been applied to test hypothesis to find out significant relationship between parenting style and student’s academic performance. Findings indicate that parenting style is the significant predictor of academic performance. 摘要

本研究旨在探讨父母教养方式与在校学生学习成绩的关系。样本由拉合尔地区学校的学生组成。家长来自拉合尔地区不同的农村和城市地区。学生们被要求报告关于父母的信息。研究变量采用父母倦怠量表(PBA)、情绪调节问卷(EQR)、父母星座量表(PCON)、父母合作量表(COP)、父母暴力与忽视量表(PVIO),观察家长对学生成绩的态度。采用方差分析和t检验对假设进行检验,发现父母教养方式与学生学业成绩之间存在显著的关系。研究结果表明,父母教养方式是学业成绩的重要预测因素。进一步的研究发现,母亲的教养方式与学生成绩之间存在显著的相关关系,而母亲和父亲的教养方式之间存在差异。
