When performed by hand, data compilation usually results in plotting, computation and tabular listing errors. A mechan ical means of circumventing the task is desirable and would make available more time for analysis of the results along with a more accurate presentation. By using a computer in conjunction with an automatic data plotter, raw data from tests can be analyzed and presented more accurately and in far less time than by manual preparation. This paper dis cusses the required inputs and form of presentation using a computer program called EMCEP, which stands for Electro magnetic Compatibility Emissions Presentation. The pro gram analyzes and compiles the reduced raw data generated from testing.
