Through this, the present status and future of K-POP were considered. First, the concept of ‘reboot’ terminology was summarized, and prior research on the reboot phenomenon was summarized. ‘Reboot’ is a concept that is mainly used in movies, and previous studies that approached the same method used in movies in K-pop were confirmed. Research was conducted by approaching K-POP with the ‘reboot’ word itself, which was not covered in previous studies, and it was divided into the remake craze and the reverse run of the music charts.
