ON THE POTENTIAL OF CONTROLLING IN THE MANAGEMENT OF REGIONAL ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OF THE FAR EASTERN FEDERAL DISTRICT

The article focuses on the possibility of using the controlling tools in the regional aspect. Currently, the development of the economy of the Far East and its regions is at the center of attention of the government of the Russian Federation. The development and approval of state programs "Socio-economic development of the Far Eastern Federal District" is a confirmation of this. Meanwhile, the stability, development, and competitiveness of the regional economic system are closely related to the level of interaction of its constituent functional subsystems, which determines the possible growth of its competitiveness. The development of the regional economy needs an array of information on the key parameters of functioning for making relevant and effective economic decisions, which can be implemented through the tools and methods of controlling and its accounting and analytical component.
